We interviewed five real estate agents before deciding on Ms. Humphry as our first choice of real estate agent. At our first meeting, she came fully prepared with a relevant real estate review from our area and was realistic about the challenges of home sales during the COVID pandemic and the declining Calgary housing market. She came back with a well though-out plan for the staging and sale of our home, and was flexible in its execution. She also easily interfaced with other organizations participating in our move out of the home (grounds maintenance, estate liquidation, home repairs, lawyer.) The house was successfully sold at near asking price in a declining market within a couple of weeks of listing, so the target price was accurately determined. In short, the sales experience of our home with Ms. Humphry could not of been better.

We had the pleasure of working with JoAnne Humphry from RE/MAX Realty Professionals as our real estate agent to sell our condo this year. JoAnne was always very professional and highly responsive in all of our dealings. She helped us prepare our home for showing with the assistance of her painter and stager which made the process quite painless. She very adeptly helped us price the property at a competitive level that ultimately attracted two buyers in what has been one of the most difficult seller markets here in Calgary over the past decade.

JoAnne has a very practical but insightful approach to the process which led to a very successful outcome for us. We experienced a few last minute issues with the property prior to closing however she skillfully negotiated a solution that was acceptable to ourselves and the buyer leading to a successful closing.

While it appeared that we chose to sell our home in a down economy in Calgary with a very slow real estate market in April 2018, JoAnne (as it turns out!), priced our home exactly where it should have been to attract buyers. We gave her some challenges on the price but it turns out that she was correct. In a market where a lot of homes did not have showings or sat on the market, JoAnne was able to stage our home beautifully and price it accordingly, hence attracting a lot of potential buyers to our home. Our home sold in a few weeks after being listed. Joanne was very knowledgeable about the Calgary real estate market and we found her to be very pleasant to work with. She was always a text or call away.  We needed a job done prior to the buyers taking possession and we liked that JoAnne was quick to use local small business to help support the local economy. JoAnne Humphry has provided professional assistance for me in two separate real estate transactions. In both cases, she proved to be knowledgeable and timely. She also provided more than anticipated. In the first instance, for example, although there was a pending offer on the desired property, she suggested presenting a clean offer with a tight timeline subject to the existing offer not meeting the condition imposed. This allowed us to circumvent any other offers being accepted. It proved to be a successful strategy.

We immigrated to Calgary four years ago. As first time home buyers we found the Calgary real estate market very daunting, and worried whether we would actually find our dream home. Our goal was to purchase an inner city property that was convenient to transit and amenities. After much research there seemed to be very little on the market within our price range.
